Add to your project

Terminal
npx shadcn@latest add https://luv-jeri.github.io/cojeev-ui/r/assembly-part.json

The command includes the component’s shared dependencies. Your project keeps editable source files.

Using assembly part

  • Use this primitive inside a measured composition. Preserve stable part identity while target geometry changes.

  • asChild retains the native interactive element. Assembly controls manage its interactivity during travel.

API

Compose the exported parts below. The prop types are read from the React source during the registry build.

Native element or underlying primitive props are inherited where declared, including accessible labels, event handlers and refs.

AssemblyPartProps

PropTypeRequired
childrenReact.ReactElementYes
identitystringYes
transitionKey

Marks a new composition even when a reused part has identical target geometry.

rectAssemblyRectYes
from

Initial geometry for a newly introduced native part; existing roots keep current motion values.

curve

Curved travel strength from 0 (straight) to 1.

release

Give native paint, clipping, focus and hover motion back after arrival.

Accessibility

  • Settled parts retain native keyboard behaviour. Moving parts are inert until placed.

States and appearance

restinteractivereduced-motion

For conditional content, keep a MotionPresence boundary around keyed MotionSurface children. The shared entrance and exit states work with native primitives and respect your motion preference.

Try pointer and keyboard interaction, and switch the appearance control in the navigation to compare light and dark mode. Motion respects reduced motion preferences.
