Using empty

  • Use EmptyTitle and EmptyDescription to distinguish a new collection from a search with no results.

  • Add a clear action such as creating an item or clearing a filter when that action is available.

Accessibility

  • Use a meaningful heading and description; announce a dynamically changed result separately when the workflow requires it.

States and appearance

resthoverfocusactive

For conditional content, keep a MotionPresence boundary around keyed MotionSurface children. The shared entrance and exit states work with native primitives and respect your motion preference.

Try pointer and keyboard interaction, and switch the appearance control in the navigation to compare light and dark mode. Motion respects reduced motion preferences.
